Prep for the women’s mini-marathon

 

D4 Pilates is proud to know so many people participating in the Women’s Mini-Marathon on June 2, so we want to offer our encouragement and support. During the month of May we invite mini-marathon runners and walkers to take four Pilates mat classes for the price of three at our Sandymount or Killester locations.

Some Pilates benefits for runners  include:

– greater flexibility in the calf muscles, hamstrings and Achilles tendons

– more awareness of the core

– reduced pressure on the back

– greater strength in the feet and ankles

Mini-marathoners may choose any 4 classes for €45 (normally €60), to be used in advance of the event. Some classes on our schedule include Beginners Pilates, Intermediate Pilates, Open Level Pilates and Bootcamp Pilates. Class sizes are between 10 and 12 people, allowing for plenty of personalised attention.
